Why We Decided to Start a Web Site
We think all people are on a spiritual journey. It starts shortly after birth and continues to the last year of life and beyond. We also think that on most journeys, people are helped toward their destination by others. While reading Left Behind, a novel of the earth’s last days by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, we found a fitting analogy to explain why His Grace Creations is on the internet. In the book, millions of people throughout the world vanish in one catastrophic instant. Vehicles without drivers veer out of control. People watch helplessly as loved ones disappear. Buck, a journalist and one of the main characters, is on assignment when the disappearances occur and immediately realizes he’s living the greatest story of his life. Returning to his office is necessary but made almost impossible by the near total devastation to every form of transportation. Then, as an answer to his skeptical prayer for help, he sees a yellow bicycle with a cardboard sign clipped to it, leaning against a brick wall in an alley. The sign says simply, "Borrow this bike. Take it where you like. Leave if for someone else in need. No charge." |

That ‘yellow bike’ symbolizes our desire to be available for people on a spiritual journey, perhaps one more difficult than they imagined. Our alley is the Internet; the cardboard sign, this site. Our sign says, "Read these pages. Ask the questions in your heart. Let us show you a direction to consider. No charge." That’s why we started this site. |
