Offering Directions for the Journey

No two humans are alike.  Our fingerprints and DNA identify us unique among all others on the planet.   Nobody knows exactly how we feel when we say we’re sad or angry; those emotions can’t be measured like blood pressure or our body temperature.  We look similar but rarely see someone dressed exactly like us even though tens of thousands of the same outfit might have been sold.  Our differences make us interesting.

Who Are the Interesting People Visiting Us?

Part of being a Christian is loving people like Christ did.  Two aspects of this love are patience and true kindness (read about the others), even when someone doesn’t think, act, or believe as we do.  We’ve listed below several different ways you can share some of your differences with us.  Those unique thoughts and beliefs are what make you the person you are; the person we’d like to know a little better.

1. Send us a link to your favorite web site and tell us why you like it.

2. Share with us something you’ve posted on line.

3. Tell us about a group you closely identify with and give us their online address.

4. Let us hear the funniest story you know and tell us where to find it on the web if possible.

5. Trust us with a hurt you’ve experienced. 

6. Give us your reasons for visiting our website.

7. Ask us a question about spiritual matters.

What Happens to Your Sharing

Maybe nothing.  Maybe we’ll learn a little more about one of our interesting visitors and that’s worthwhile.  Perhaps you’ll let us post what makes you interesting so others can get to know you too.  Who knows what will happen.  God could even use something you say to make a change in someone else’s life or our response might be used by him to impact you. 

Regardless of what you tell us, we’ll do our best to demonstrate the kind of love toward you that Jesus wants us to.  Is it worth the risk?
