Offering Directions for the Journey

Home

Welcome to His grace creations – A place for people who have questions about Christianity and no place they feel comfortable asking them.

We're sort of like an information booth at a spiritual rest stop on life's faith highway. We’ll do our best to provide thoughtful answers to your questions so you can get back on the roadway for the rest of your spiritual journey.

Something already on the tip of your tongue?  Feel free to ask a question or make a comment.  If you’re just here for a short respite before continuing your trek and you don’t have any questions, you could read one of the articles we’ve written about an aspect of Christianity.

To find an article you might enjoy, check the following statements, pick the one which best describes how you usually relate to others, and click the corresponding link.

Our No Argument Guarantee!

There’s an old saying that politics and religion should never be discussed. People have become rightly afraid that a simple discussion may explode into a full-scale argument. But, arguments all too often happen when neither person cares enough for what the other has to say to let them say it.

Who you are and what you think matters a great deal to God and  it should matter to us too. Therefore, you’ll get no argument from us. At least, that’s our goal and if we blow it, you’ll get an apology.

Here are the options as we see them, but you’ll have to make the decision!

Off the Drawing Board as of...

March 29, 2008

When new articles or updates to existing pages at His Grace Creations are ready for discussion, we’ll list them here and change the ‘as of’ date above.

A quick visit to Off the Drawing Board on your next visit will tell you at a glance if something has been changed.

His grace creations!

What if you don’t want to continue your journey? In fact, maybe you’ve come to a roadblock thinking about spiritual matters. You don’t think you can go forward, you may even be ready to give up the search. See if one of the statements below describes where you’re at and then take a look at our suggestion below.

Did one of those make you wince; was there a little too much truth in one of them; does it feel like someone has your number? Here’s our proposal…

Try Again! That’s the suggestion – try again. It’s easy to say and we realize it may be very difficult to do but there’s a chance this time could be different. In fact, why not take another look at the list above, identify where you are and then tell us about it?

If you make that decision, we’ll listen carefully and respond compassionately. It’s the least you deserve. After all, we think you are highly valued by God. That makes you important in our book too.

Our Special Easter Feature is Packed Away

Though our story that looks at the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and Jesus, has been packed away, there are still ways to learn about…

Did Voltaire Finally Win a Point?

We’ve posted another one of our Elite Eight reasons whey Voltaire’s quote - “If Christians want us to believe in a Redeemer, let them act redeemed” - is either a Pretender or Contender.

10 Roadblocks Encountered On Spiritual Journeys

There’s no answer to the question I have

I’ve asked questions before and been unsatisfied with the answer

Issues in my life make me angry when I think of God

The Bible doesn’t make any sense to me

A Christian friend makes even less sense than the Bible

I’m ridiculed because of what I believe

I feel angry because of what others are trying to make me believe

When I discuss spiritual issues, it seems others are just trying to win a point

People don’t take my questions seriously

My questions don’t get asked for fear of what the answer will be

What’s Next?

I like to approach topics directly, without much small talk.

Spiritual Challenge

When I engage in a long talk with friends, I feel rich beyond measure.

The Relational Place

I enjoy discussions and debates on difficult questions.

Examplanations

It’s easy to pay attention when someone shares a personal experience.
